Lifetime Achievement Award

The Lifetime Achievement Award is the highest honour conferred by ISA-AP. It recognizes senior anaesthesiologists who have devoted decades of service to advancing the speciality through clinical excellence, academic leadership, mentorship, and contribution to society activities.

Recipients of this award are respected role models whose careers reflect dedication to patient care, education, and professional integrity.

Distinguished Service Award

The Distinguished Service Award recognizes members who have made notable contributions to ISA-AP through sustained organizational service, academic initiatives, public awareness programs, and branch-level leadership.

This award honours individuals whose commitment and voluntary efforts have strengthened the society and enhanced its outreach and impact.

Areas of Contribution Considered

• Active and sustained service to ISA-AP at state or branch level

• Leadership in organizing conferences, CMEs, workshops, or outreach activities

• Promotion of ethical practice and professional unity

• Contributions to public education, safety initiatives, or training programs

• Support for postgraduate education and member welfare

Eligibility and Nomination Process

• Nominations may be proposed by ISA-AP branches, senior members, or the State Executive Committee.

• Nominees must be members in good standing with ISA-AP.

• Detailed guidelines regarding eligibility, documentation, and timelines are communicated annually.

• A designated awards committee evaluates nominations based on merit, contribution, and impact.

Final selection is subject to approval by the State Executive Committee and ratification by the General Body, where applicable.

Award Presentation

• Awards are usually presented during the Annual State Conference or a major official event of ISA-AP.

• Each awardee is honoured with a citation and memento recognizing their contributions.

• A brief profile of the recipient may be published on the ISA-AP website and society communications.
